How to Join Us

Full Membership: Please only those who agree with our Mission Statement and the mission of this site (see our home page) are welcome. Again, the most important part is: We are convinced that "Every person have equal right and opportunity to participate in public affairs", and that "Participatory" Democracy, also known as "Direct" Democracy, is the most promising path to a better future of mankind. All members of the WDDM are dedicated to promoting an understanding of Direct Democracy's benefits and spreading its influence on planet Earth.

To join, register in the WDDM Forum as a new user:
        To do that, click here and fill in all the fields.
You will be required to give also your real name and in the box named "Relation to Direct Democracy" please write a few words about yourself (individual members) or a short description of your organization - any information that could be of interest to the DD community (and that is not yet in the "DD public domain").
Warning (mainly to HOTMAIL users): To complete registration, you will have to be able to receive e-mail from wbm @ world-wide-democracy.net. Therefore, you may have to add this address to your Safe (Allowed) List before you click on the above link. Alternatively, you may sign up for a free e-mail account with other providers, such as Google.
Upon successful completion of your registration, your initial WDDM Home Page will be created, and you will be subscribed to the two WDDM mailing lists, wddm@world-wide-democracy.net (WDDM) and open@world-wide-democracy.net (OPEN_WDDM). WDDM is the "official" list (for WDDM members only), OPEN_WDDM is intended for unstructured free discussion (open to anybody). You can later choose to unsubscribe from one or both lists, here is how.

Then log into the Forum, go to My Control Center, edit your profile and set up your preferences. After that you can start making posts in the Forum right away, and/or edit and create your WDDM Wiki pages.

Open Discussion List: Anybody can join the OPEN_WDDM list by sending an empty e-mail to open-subscribe@world-wide-democracy.net.
