I am currently trying to form a DD party in ohio. I support direct democracy with a representative option, essentially the single transferable vote system. The most effective way to see this into a reality is the creation of a political party where the elected representatives vote the will of their constituents who vote on every issue, or appoint a representative, a member of the same constituency, to cast their vote for them. Such a system could become viral infecting all the republics masquerading democracies of the world. Causing a domino effect that the comintern would be jealous of.
